P-IRM™ is a multi-component material used within ISCR programmes to immobilise, adsorb and precipitate heavy metals in contaminated soil and groundwater into stable, long-term forms.
How It Works
P-IRM™ suppresses methylating bacteria activity during ISCR treatment, reducing bioaccumulation of methylated (organometallic) compounds — a secondary contamination risk that standard ISCR-only approaches can otherwise introduce when treating combined organic and heavy-metal sites.
